Student answer (Band 5.5)
The importance of living in best time history is now among a group of people which was always debatable has now become more controversial with many people claiming that that it is beneficial while others reject this notion. The substantial influence of this trend has sparked the controversy over the potential impact in recent years. In my opinion this is the right time to live in history to know more about the past life and educate the new generation about this is important. This essay will further elaborate my views in the following paragraphs.
Analyzing the statement and explaining further, the first and foremost reason for living in history now is that new generation does not know a lot of things about the past life, it is fading day by day even the newly launch social studies courses by the government removed a lot of area about the history. The students does not know their Mughal emperor as that all history is faded by the people. Another striking reason in this regard is that Bollywood is making a lot of movies in regards with the history of Lord Rama. They add some certain things including the animations and many more realistic things that are existing in that times which leads to the providing information to the young generation to watch and know about their history. For Example, from [redacted phone] there are almost more that 12 movies released based on the history to educate the youth by promoting movie and books based on the history.
On the other hand, the other time to live in history is the future when there will be the modernization everywhere, i think that would be the perfect time to live in history. People can educate the new upcoming generation about the history via the usage of Robort. You can just feed the data in it and they will make the image and they will add some sound effect like the way you are actually living in that time.
In conclusion, history is the thing to preserve it to the whole life, it does not matter what time you are in, if you can learn history it is the best time to learn and adapt it with, someone want to live it in future they still have the chance to live in and get the knowledge.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt, but the development of ideas is inconsistent. While you express an opinion on the current era and suggest the future as an interesting alternative, the arguments are somewhat tangential. For instance, the focus on Bollywood movies and social studies curricula does not directly explain why 'now' is the best time to live; rather, it discusses the preservation of history. The connection between the prompt and your arguments is often tenuous, leading to a lack of clear focus. To improve, ensure that every paragraph directly supports your stated position rather than drifting into related but secondary topics.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical progression is frequently interrupted by unclear transitions and awkward phrasing. While some cohesive devices are used, such as 'On the other hand' and 'In conclusion', they are often applied mechanically or do not accurately reflect the relationship between ideas. Referencing is sometimes confusing, such as the phrase 'history is the thing to preserve it to the whole life', which lacks clarity. Improving the flow between sentences and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear, singular focus would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally limited and repetitive. You rely on basic phrasing and struggle with precise collocations. For example, 'living in best time history' is grammatically awkward and lacks the sophistication expected at higher bands. There are also instances of word-choice errors, such as 'Robort' (spelling) and 'existing in that times'. While you attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary, the lack of variety and occasional inaccuracies mean that the range is only minimally adequate for the task. Expanding your vocabulary to include more academic and precise terms would be beneficial.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are issues with subject-verb agreement ('The students does not know'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are overly long and convoluted, leading to confusion, such as the opening sentence which is a run-on. While there is an attempt to use complex structures, they are often faulty. To reach a higher band, you need to focus on mastering basic sentence construction and ensuring that your subject-verb agreement and punctuation are accurate before attempting more complex grammatical forms.
