Student answer (Band 6.0)
According to some individuals that present time is a greatest time period to survive. As per my perception there is mera no doubt on this belief, however time from 1980 to 2010 can't be neglected.
In this modern society, people love to live as life is very convenient due to the technology. Everybody have more than one electronic devices, which are helping them in many tasks and make their life easy and accessible. For example, each and every one have their phons with many advantages including talk or write to someone, stay up to date with everyday world happenings and many more. As compare to the past most of countries are developed as eduction took place on higher level. People can get education from abroad or from big universities, whereas in the past people was not much educated. That is why now most of the indiviuals are self employed and living a good lifestyle.
However, time from 1980 to 2010 was also a wonderful time as the innovation of technology was being stared that time. So people born in that period experienced 2 trends, without technology and with technology. They saw time without the internet as well. For instance, most of parents spent there 20 or 30 years in with old methods and now they are living in this modern society. Furthermore, in past years, it was less polluted environment as the number of vehicles and industries was very low as compatible today. People used public transport to commute, which was also not available in more numbers.
To conclude, mera no question arises on that today's time is best for living with all the facilities but the point of environment pollution should be focused to make it more better.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the opinion on the current era and the alternative historical period. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention technology and education as reasons for the current era being the best, the explanation remains superficial. The discussion of the 1980-2010 period is also quite brief and lacks specific historical context or depth. To improve, you should provide more detailed examples and ensure your arguments are fully extended rather than just stated. The position is clear, but the supporting evidence needs to be more robust to reach a higher band.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organised into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. You use some cohesive devices such as 'However', 'For example', and 'To conclude' to link ideas. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and there are instances where the progression of ideas feels slightly disjointed. For example, the transition between the benefits of technology and the mention of education could be smoother. Additionally, the use of non-English words like 'mera' disrupts the coherence of the text. Improving the variety and naturalness of your linking words will help the essay read more fluently.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to express your ideas clearly. You use some relevant topic-specific terms like 'electronic devices', 'modern society', and 'public transport'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'survive' instead of 'live', 'stared' instead of 'started', and 'compatible' instead of 'compared to'. There is also an unnecessary inclusion of non-English words. To improve, focus on learning common collocations and ensuring that your word choices are precise and appropriate for a formal essay context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The response contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('Everybody have', 'people was'), article usage, and pluralisation ('each and every one have their phons'). Punctuation is also inconsistent in places. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to affect the overall clarity. To reach a higher band, you should focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy and attempting more complex sentence structures with greater control.
