Student answer (Band 5.5)
Few individuals favour the moder era is the perfect for one to live his life whereas, there would be several other contenders like pre-historic era is also comes into focus. Both of these developments along with my viewpoint will be elaborated further.
People who cunt themselves fortunate to be lived in modern era, the prime reason to support their point is , technological advancement. This is because, it can not be denied that invention of computers and smartphone completely rejuvenate the governance as well as service system. Furthermore, paying taxes, electricity bills, claiming insurances , filing loans can now easily done by one click. Last but not the least, all the information is available on the search engine google, make one’s life more comfortable plus convenient, could be the best example.
On the other hand, rest of the crowd believe that pre-historic era would have been more authentic as well as fruitful to live. To explain it in-depth, such times human exposure to technology was not happened yet, so did its side-effects. What even more is, many great cultures, histories has been shaping the societies, religion which is still existing today. Roman empire , Gupta empire where economy, education, art and craft, medical and modern science got emerged, which in today’s time reached to new heights.
To conclude and offer my position, even though many people say technological advancement is the main cause of making their life easier then ever, yet origin of cultures, religions and medical science plus great history that one can still learn from and prevent many disastrous decisions, make me compelled to be in favour of pre-historic era than recent one.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the opinion on the modern era and the choice of a historical period. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. While you mention technological advancements for the modern era, the explanation of the pre-historic era is vague and historically inaccurate, as you conflate 'pre-historic' with the Roman and Gupta empires, which are historical, not pre-historic. The position is clear, but the supporting arguments lack depth and factual precision, which limits the overall impact of your response.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear attempt to use cohesive devices such as 'Furthermore', 'On the other hand', and 'To conclude'. However, the flow is occasionally disrupted by awkward phrasing and mechanical transitions. For example, the opening sentence is difficult to follow due to grammatical errors. Referencing is sometimes unclear, and the connection between sentences could be smoother to ensure a more natural progression of ideas throughout the text.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting to use topic-specific words like 'technological advancement', 'rejuvenate', and 'authentic'. However, there are several instances of word-choice errors and awkward collocations, such as 'cunt themselves' (likely a typo for 'count') and 'human exposure to technology was not happened yet'. These errors occasionally hinder the clarity of your message. To reach a higher band, focus on using more precise vocabulary and ensuring that words are used in their correct context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that affect readability. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('pre-historic era is also comes'), tense usage ('was not happened yet'), and missing articles or incorrect word forms ('the moder era is the perfect'). While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. More attention to basic sentence construction and proofreading for grammatical accuracy is essential.
