There is an ongoing debate about whether in today's world time is the best to be living from the past period . Although no doubt in this contemporary era is the best time for living because there are numerous facilities as compare in history, I believe that if get chance to live other time in history then I would prefer to live in 1960s-1970s. This essay will discuss both views in the upcoming paragraphs.

On the one hand, nowadays individuals gain plenty of facilities which they didi not have in the several years ago. First of all, the most crucial thing is awareness about healthcare system. People can easily get knowledge about their immune system and health related issues such as cancer and other diseases. This system does not only provide awareness about the health problems but also gives better treatment to prevent the higher risks of diseases. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses all parts of the prompt by giving an opinion on whether today is the best time to live and suggesting an alternative era (the 1960s-1970s). The position is clear throughout the essay. Ideas are extended with relevant explanations, such as healthcare awareness and communication technology for the modern era, and women's rights and face-to-face connections for the 1960s-1970s. However, some ideas are slightly repetitive or under-developed, and the argument occasionally lacks deep elaboration. For instance, the mention of baby boomers and social media creates a slight historical contradiction. Nevertheless, the prompt is fully satisfied in terms of task coverage and general development, aligning well with the Band 6 descriptors.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay presents a coherent overall arrangement and follows a clear paragraph structure with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Logical organization is present, with clear signaling phrases such as 'On the one hand', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion'. However, cohesion is sometimes faulty or mechanical. For example, referencing is occasionally imprecise ('this contemporary era', 'that was 1960s and 1970s'), and some transitions feel abrupt or grammatically awkward, such as 'Because there was other things we would be experienced.' Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the two opposing viewpoints. These features place the response securely at Band 6.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The student displays an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully attempting less common items such as 'contemporary era', 'healthcare system', and 'awareness'. However, there are noticeable word-choice and collocation errors throughout the text, such as 'time is the best to be living from the past period', 'gain plenty of facilities', 'a international pupils', and 'technology word born'. Spelling and word formation errors also occur ('didi', 'facinating', 'dependant', 'genration'). While these errors do not severely impede communication, they reflect the limitations characteristic of Band 5, where lexical control is inconsistent and precision is lacking.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, utilizing relative clauses and conditional structures (e.g., 'if get chance to live other time in history then I would prefer'). However, there is a high frequency of grammatical errors, including missing articles ('a international pupils', 'women rights'), incorrect prepositions ('as compare in history', 'on that time'), tense confusion ('there was other things we would be experienced'), and subject-verb agreement issues. These frequent errors can occasionally cause difficulty for the reader and prevent the text from reaching a higher band, making Band 5 an accurate reflection of the current grammatical control.
