IELTS Writing Task 2 question

Some people say that now is the best time in history to be living.

What is your opinion about this?

What other time in history would be interesting to live in?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

It is undeniable that present time is best for living in history as compared to past time. I will discuss reason why it is best time with my opinion and also discuss teh past time why it would be interst to live on that time which are explain in upcoming parargraphs.

On the one side, there are numerous reasons why current time is effective to live in history. First and foremost is that modern techonolgy. It is commonly seen that people's life become easy due to techonolgy which put impact on every sectors. they can easy their work in few minutes with the help of machine instead by hands As a result they can save their time. In addition, transport system develop due to techonlogy so they can easy go any where any time by spending less time. In other words, life of people become convienent due to use various types of mode of transport. For example, a recent survey conducted taht approximately 90% individuals use their private veichle for going anywhere. Hence, they save their time and feel comfortable to use it.

On the other side, some people think that history of other time is suitable for living. First of all, people especiaaly youngstars wnant to know about the life on that time because life was simple and easy of individuals. They prefer more time to their family as comapred to doing more work which put positive impact on the bonding between them and reduce stress also which can be seen normally in people these days. Moreover, young people want to know that how life of their without smart phones and technical devices as tere were not invention and they had not knowledge about it.

Conclusion, although people feel free from worries due to spend more time their family and not utlize technical gadgets, according to me, the life become easy of people due to technologyas it bring positive changes in every fields.
