Student answer (Band 5.0)
In the twenty first century the race of the human's have excelled in all the possible area of life. There are some folks who believes that this modern time is the epitome of the living standard, but on my opinion there are both pros and cons of the current time of the world that is why I have mix opinions about the quesion of is this is the best time in the history to live in or not!. here I will explain both the merits and the demerits of past time and the future world.
First of all, the twenty first century is absolutely the great time in compared with the history of the modern world where there are multiple world wars have occured and multiple pandemics, which have eredicated the considerable amount of the global population. while, nowadays beacuse of the modern science we have the best way of doing the medical researches like; covid-19 vacccine's fast trials and utilization across the globe to save the human race which was not possible 100 years back in the history. Also, nowadays computer scientist have a breakthorugh which is called an AI (Artifical intelegence) which trasformed the functioning of every on ground sector of digital world.
Secondly, there are many decades in the history where humans were living very healthy and porsporous life when you compared it with today's fast paced life. Back then people were mostly doing farming which eventually helped the earth and all the life's which were living on the earth on the mirror side globe is suffering from the global warming which keeps telling that the time of 19th century and earlier was way better for peace of mind for all the speices of this planet.
To conclude, there are both the pros and cons of both the historical time and modern era.But still many people choose to say that this is the great time in the human history to be on the earth.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a relevant, mixed view of whether the present is the best time to live, and support it with examples such as medical research, COVID-19 vaccines, AI, world wars and pandemics. However, the position is not consistently clear: you say you have “mix opinions,” but the conclusion mainly repeats that many people consider this a great time without stating your own final judgement. The second question is only partly answered. You refer to the nineteenth century and earlier as potentially better for peace of mind, but do not identify a specific period you would personally find interesting to live in or explain that choice in detail. Develop both answers directly and support them with more precise reasoning or examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and “First of all” and “Secondly” help signal the main points. The ideas are generally relevant, but progression is uneven: the opening promises to discuss “the future world,” while the essay compares the present with the past, and the conclusion does not clearly resolve the argument. Some links are mechanical or unclear, particularly “while” before the contrast about modern medicine and “on the mirror side,” which makes the relationship between ideas difficult to follow. Improve cohesion by giving each body paragraph a clear focus, using accurate linking phrases, and making references such as “this” or “back then” clearly point to a specific idea or period.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “epitome,” “pandemics,” “global warming,” “pros and cons” and “fast-paced life.” These choices show an effort to discuss history, technology and the environment, but control is inconsistent. Several misspellings and inaccurate forms—such as “eredicated,” “Artifical intelegence,” “breakthorugh” and “porsporous”—make the writing less fluent and can distract the reader. Some combinations are also unnatural, for example “the race of the human’s have excelled” and “the best time in the human history to be on the earth.” Build accuracy by checking spelling and choosing natural collocations, such as “humanity has made progress” and “the best period in human history to live.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including clauses beginning with “where” and “which,” and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to process. For example, “There are some folks who believes” has subject–verb disagreement, while “there are multiple world wars have occured” combines incompatible sentence structures. The opening sentence also has problems with agreement and possessive form. Punctuation and sentence boundaries need attention: “while” begins a sentence without a clear connection, and the final paragraph runs “era. But” together. Practise building accurate clauses first, then combine them using clear conjunctions and consistent punctuation.
