Student answer (Band 5.5)
There is no denying that number of inventions has taken place in the betterment of the humans. It is considered that almost all generation is quite satisfied with the progress of history as they are leading their best time in recent years. I entirely agree with this statement that people have advanced comfortable lifestyle rather than the previous years and in future, the advancements of science would be more improved.
There are plenty of reasons to support this idea as artificial intelligence has prevalent among the youngsters which was not existed in the earlier time. To elaborate on this, AI has made a person life more comfortable as individuals use this technology for various purposes such as academic study and students claim that they use Chat gpt and Gemini for completing their subjects within few mintues , not only that these sources also provide information about using tactics to get higher score in the subjects. Due to this, their burden level has reached at ease level. Moreover, History also made inventions in other fields as if medical, science and space which are leading positive outcomes for both government and people.
The best period to live in the history would be in 2050. The main cause is to advance creations in space. It would be exciting to see the world in the next decades as scientist start creating number of inventions in each field and they have also claimed that people would be able to live in the space where they will live their life same as they do on the earth.
To conclude, I believe that today generation are living luxurious life thanks to history and these ongoing inventions would have better results in the future which would probably more Convenient and hassle-free life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you agree that people today enjoy a better lifestyle, and you identify 2050 as another period that would be interesting to experience. The discussion of AI, education and medical or space-related progress is relevant, and the example of students using AI gives one idea some support. However, the reasons for preferring the present are not developed evenly: the claims about medical and scientific advances remain general, and the point about future improvements is not clearly separated from your answer about the best time in history. The 2050 paragraph gives a relevant prediction about living in space, but could explain more fully why this would make that era interesting. Develop each main reason with a clearer explanation or specific example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph supporting your view, a paragraph about 2050, and a conclusion. This makes the main stages of the argument easy to identify. You also use linking expressions such as “To elaborate on this,” “Moreover,” and “To conclude.” At times, however, connections feel mechanical or unclear. For example, “Moreover, History also made inventions in other fields” does not clearly connect the preceding AI example to the broader claim, and “not only that” introduces another point without a well-formed continuation. Some references, such as “these sources,” require the reader to infer what they refer to. Use fewer formulaic transitions and make the relationship between each example and your main point explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “artificial intelligence,” “academic study,” “medical,” “space,” and “hassle-free,” which helps communicate your ideas. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “There is no denying” and “positive outcomes.” However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, including “inventions has taken place in the betterment,” “AI has prevalent,” and “burden level has reached at ease level.” These sometimes make the intended meaning less precise. Spelling and form errors such as “mintues” and “Convenient” also reduce control. Aim for natural combinations—for example, say that inventions have “improved people’s lives”—and check spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, using clauses with “as,” “which,” and “where,” and the overall meaning is generally understandable. Some sentences are nevertheless error-free, while errors in agreement, articles, verb forms and sentence construction recur. For example, “number of inventions has taken place” needs an article and a more suitable verb pattern; “AI has prevalent” is missing a verb form; and “today generation are living” has an agreement problem. The long sentence beginning “To elaborate on this” also joins several ideas with weak punctuation, making its structure difficult to follow. Practise building accurate sentences around one main clause, then add subordinate clauses only when their grammatical relationship is clear. Check subject–verb agreement and verb forms during revision.
