Student answer (Band 5.0)
People believe that living in this era is a blessing in disguise because of all the technological advancements and modernized perspective about life.
The norms, cultures and mindsets have evolved over years in a positive direction . This eassy shall explore how and why people tend to believe in the concept that today's world is far better than that of baby boomers or previous generations.
In my opinion, it is quite evident that people are living far better life than our parents have lived. A case in point, women were not given the freedom of speech nor they were allowed to get education, their rights were snubbed. Infact, women didn't even knew their rights. They were told to obey to the men of the house. this patriachy was quite common and appriciated. It was quite common for men to treat women as slaves or make their owns house a jail for them. I still remember one of my friend told me that her mother was not allowed to leave the house alone at any cost. Another firned reported physical abuse of her father towards her mother. These sort of things were a common and normal practice in all asian houses.
Times changed, revolution spoke for it self, now women know about their rights and demand equal part in society. They know that they can not be harmed by any men because of his masculinity. this one is the biggest blessing and a positive impact of today's generation,
If we talk about other domains, like technologies which has made human life easier and convinient is another reason for believing that today's world is best place to live peacefully. The technological advancements has amazed people throughout centuries and so it is and will keep on astonoshing people with brilliant new mindsets who have the audacity to challenge old ideas and brings something more innovative and creative on the table. One huge example of such advancement is AI, which has effortlessly made things conivinient for everyone
In my opinion no other time in history can challenge Today's era and the generation coming after it. These young adults have been challenging and changing the thought process that has been a part of our soceity since ages and i accept it to be the beautiful part of toadys' time

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
Your position is clear: you consider the present better, especially because women have more rights and technology makes life easier. The examples about women’s restricted freedom and the use of AI are relevant to this view. However, the task also asks which other historical period would be interesting to live in, and this part is not answered. The response instead repeats that no other time can challenge the present. In addition, several claims about women’s lives and “all Asian houses” are broad, while the examples are brief and do not fully explain their significance. Address both questions directly, and develop each main reason with a specific, carefully explained example to make the response more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, paragraphs about women’s rights and technology, and a concluding statement. Phrases such as “A case in point” and “If we talk about other domains” help signal examples and a shift in topic. However, progression is uneven: the introduction promises to explore why people hold this view, but the essay does not clearly organise its reasons, and the requested alternative historical period is absent. Some links are repetitive or unclear, including the repeated emphasis on “today’s world” and the abrupt move from women’s rights to technology. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s purpose, connect examples explicitly to the argument, and reserve the conclusion for a concise summary of both parts of the task.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “technological advancements,” “freedom of speech,” “equal part in society,” and “challenge old ideas.” These choices help communicate your main themes, and the meaning is generally understandable. However, spelling errors and awkward or inaccurate combinations are frequent enough to make expression less controlled: examples include “eassy,” “patriachy,” “convinient,” and “made things convenient.” Some phrases are also imprecise, such as “modernized perspective about life” and “equal part in society.” Aim for accurate collocations and proofread spelling. More precise alternatives such as “changing social attitudes” and “equal participation in society” would express your ideas more naturally.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use both short statements and longer sentences, and you attempt to explain causes and give examples. However, control is inconsistent, particularly in longer sentences, and errors occur often enough to distract the reader. For example, “women didn’t even knew” has an incorrect verb form, while “The technological advancements has” has subject–verb disagreement. There are also problems with articles and sentence boundaries, as in “living far better life” and the lowercase “this” after a full stop. Some sentences join several ideas without clear punctuation, making their structure difficult to follow. Practise checking agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries, and divide complex ideas into shorter, accurately controlled sentences.
