Student answer (Band 6.0)
If you ever ask your elders about their time when they were growing up, you will be surprised by their answers. They will usually praise about their old times and label it as the "best time".
The current technological advancement era is the best time to be living when you compare with all the efforts that were required to finish the jobs in the past are now fulfilled in no time. Take communication as an example. Now you can talk to your family no matter in what part of the world they live, as they are just a "dial" away from you and you could even see them through a video call. Earlier, this uxury was not available and the mode of communications were limited to mostly through letters. Likewise, the commute is easier now. In a nutshell, every aspect of the living standards have become better than old days.
However, everything comes at a price. While the things which were not even imagined once are now within everybody's reach, the "personal" touch has been lost. People now a days are so busy that they often do not get the chance to spend quality time together with their loved ones. In other words, with the passage of time, despite the technology advancement is helping the mankind by bringing the convenience in the day-to-day activities, the hustle and bustle to make both ends meet is becoming increasingly difficult.
As a summary, no time is either good or bad. Every era had its own benefits. If I ever been given the option to time travel, it would be interesting to experience the 90s' as the fashion sense at that time was fascinating, the technological advancement was picking up the pace. Definitely in a time to be to experience it.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you consider the present the best era overall because technology makes communication and commuting easier, while acknowledging that modern life can reduce personal contact. You also answer the question about another period by choosing the 1990s and giving reasons related to fashion and technological change. These are relevant points, but some are less fully developed than others. For example, the claim that “every aspect” of living standards has improved is broad and would be stronger with a specific example or qualification. The 1990s choice is also brief; explain what you would want to experience and why that period would be interesting beyond its fashion and emerging technology.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a coherent overall structure: an introduction, discussion of advantages, a contrasting paragraph about modern pressures, and a conclusion that introduces the 1990s. Linking expressions such as “Likewise,” “However,” and “As a summary” help signal the direction of the argument. At times, though, connections are mechanical or the reference is unclear. The opening moves from elders’ nostalgia to your own view without clearly explaining the contrast, and “In other words” introduces a related but not identical point about work pressures. The final sentence, “Definitely in a time to be to experience it,” does not clearly complete the conclusion. Use more precise links between claims and examples, and make sure each paragraph ends with a complete, clearly connected idea.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of vocabulary for the topic, including “technological advancement,” “quality time,” “convenience,” and “hustle and bustle.” These choices help communicate both the benefits and costs of modern life, and the meaning is generally clear. There are also some inaccurate or unnatural word choices and collocations, such as “praise about their old times,” “the commute is easier,” and “the personal touch has been lost.” “Uxury” is misspelled, and “now a days” is incorrectly written as two words. Aim for more natural phrasing and precise vocabulary rather than broad expressions such as “every aspect.” For instance, specify which living conditions have improved, and use established collocations when discussing communication, transport, and work pressures.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex structures, including conditional forms (“If you ever ask your elders…”) and contrast clauses beginning with “While” and “despite.” The main ideas remain understandable, but some grammatical errors occur in sentence construction, agreement, and verb forms. For example, “when you compare with all the efforts… are now fulfilled” has an unclear comparison and an awkwardly joined clause; “the mode of communications were limited” has a singular–plural agreement problem; and “If I ever been given the option” needs a correctly formed conditional. The sentence beginning “despite the technology advancement is helping” also combines structures incorrectly. Practise building these longer sentences in clear clauses, and check agreement and verb forms before using complex connectors.
