Student answer (Band 5.5)
Some people believe that the present era is the best period in the human history to be alive, I largely agree with this view becuase modern advancements in healthcare and technology have significantly improved people's quality if life. However, I would also find fascinating to experience the early 1900s, when digital technology was beginning to transform society,
Firstly, as we are advancing at technologically, In the era, the communication have been improved expotentially fast. The assibility with the internet has given more options to communicate and connecting with people. Now with simple step you can talk with people without sending your crows through long ways.
Secondly, modern life has several challanges, I believe present life is the best time to live becuase of improvements in the healthcare. People used to die in flu as we did not had the advancement and research and development in past. Now, we have plenty of the choosing option for mindfulness and the health perspective.
For instance, when it comes to commuting from one place to another we had to travel through sea and different way of travel mediums. Which was required plenty of time and we did not realized how much time we had wasted in the past. However, If we talk about the present advantages we could go anywhere in the world within or less then 24 hours.
In the end, living in modern era have more advantages and then living in past time. The present has given people more comfort and stability.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you largely agree that the present is the best time to live, and you give relevant reasons involving healthcare, communication and travel. The examples about treating flu and reaching destinations within a day help illustrate these points. However, the second part of the task is not adequately answered. You mention the early 1900s in the introduction, but do not explain what would make that period interesting or develop it in the body. Some support for your main view is also unclear, such as the reference to “options for mindfulness.” To strengthen the response, explain both parts of the question fully and develop each reason with a precise example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate body paragraphs and a concluding statement. Sequencing phrases such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “For instance” help signal the direction of the discussion. However, the progression is not consistently clear: the travel example appears after the healthcare paragraph without a clear link, and the early-1900s idea introduced at the start is not carried through. Some connections are mechanical or confusing, particularly “However, If we talk about the present advantages.” Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s main point, connect examples directly to that point, and use referencing and transitions more precisely.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “healthcare,” “communication,” “technology,” and “commuting,” so the reader can identify your main themes. However, the range is limited and several spelling, word-form and collocation errors make parts difficult to understand. Examples include “assibility,” “expotentially,” “crows,” and “plenty of the choosing option”; the intended meanings are not always clear. Some phrases, such as “advancing at technologically” and “different way of travel mediums,” are also unnatural. Build accuracy by learning common word partnerships and checking spelling and word forms. More precise expressions would help you explain the benefits of modern life and the appeal of another historical period.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including a contrast introduced by “However” and a reason clause with “because.” Nevertheless, errors occur frequently, and some sentences are difficult to follow. For example, “the communication have been improved” has an agreement error, while “People used to die in flu as we did not had” contains problems with the article, preposition and verb form. The opening sentence also joins two independent ideas with only a comma, and “living in modern era have” has article and subject–verb agreement errors. Practise accurate sentence boundaries, verb forms and agreement before adding more complex structures; careful proofreading would also help.
