Student answer (Band 5.5)
Some people think that current period is the best phase of life as compared to previous .I personally agree with it due to the accessibility , convenient and freedom which was absent in the history. In forthcoming paragraphs i will explain why now is the milestone time to live.
First and formost reason is the access of unlimited facilities people have today. To expain , nowadysb people can go anywhere even overseas which takes few hours and they can talk and see their love ones via smartphones which were missing in past as they wrote latters which took months to delivered even within a country.Secondly, people have more freedom to fulfill their desires and they do not have that much pressure on them .For instance, it was big task for families to sent their child outside country even they could think about it. If their children wanted to persue their dreams , there ware number of boundries and restrictions on them.
Furthermore, another compelling reason is the facility of medical and educations. In the past , there was shortage of hospitals which was caused to death of people .For example, due to the advancement of technology and new adventures in science , it has become to get rid of seious illness such as cancer and others. Ultimately , nowadays masses can broden their knowlege by using various social sites on you tube ,instagram and twitter which help to get information regarding their study in which they are facing the difficulty .
To conclude, due to these reasons i accord with this notion .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
Your position is clear: you agree that the present is the best time to live, and you give relevant reasons, including communication, personal freedom, healthcare and education. However, the task has two parts, and the second—identifying another historical period that would be interesting to live in—is not answered. This omission substantially limits how fully the response addresses the prompt. The reasons for preferring the present are also mostly broad claims; for example, the points about medical progress and freedom would be stronger with a specific example and clearer explanation of how they improve people’s lives. Address both questions directly and develop each main idea with a concrete illustration.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, supporting paragraphs and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “First and foremost,” “Secondly” and “Furthermore” help readers follow the list of reasons, and the central position remains consistent. However, the progression is somewhat mechanical, with several points added one after another rather than developed through clear links. Some connections are difficult to follow, particularly the shift from medical care to social-media learning in the third body paragraph. The conclusion repeats the agreement but does not bring the main reasons together. Use topic sentences to establish each paragraph’s focus, then explain and illustrate that point before moving on; clearer referencing would also help connect examples to claims.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “accessibility,” “freedom,” “advancement of technology” and “restrictions,” which allows you to communicate the main ideas. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “compelling reason.” However, inaccurate word forms, spelling and collocations are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning less clear: “facility of medical and educations,” “new adventures in science,” and “broden their knowlege” are examples. Some expressions are also imprecise, such as “best phase of life” for the best period in history. Aim for accurate, natural combinations of words and check spelling carefully. More precise vocabulary would help you explain the benefits of modern healthcare and education without relying on general terms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a conditional structure in “If their children wanted to pursue their dreams…” and a relative clause in “which help to get information.” This gives the response some variety, and the main message is generally understandable. However, errors in articles, verb forms, agreement and sentence boundaries recur. For example, “current period” needs an article, “which takes few hours” does not agree with its subject, and “it has become to get rid of” is not a correctly formed construction. Several sentences also run together without appropriate punctuation, as in the discussion of letters and travel. Review basic sentence boundaries and verb patterns, then proofread for agreement and articles while retaining your attempts at complex sentences.
