You recently received a letter from a friend asking for advice about whether to go to college or to try to get a job. You think he/she should get a job.

Write a letter to this friend. In your letter

• say why he/she would not enjoy going to college
• explain why getting a job is a good idea for him/her
• suggest types of job that would be suitable for him/her

Dear Friend,

Hope you are doing well. I am writing this to suggest to you that going to college is not worth as the college you choose is going to provide online classes. You can learn online from the comfort of your home.

The financial condition of your family is also not good; if you find a part-time job, it will help you as well as your parents. With some amount in hand, you can pay your fees without engaging your family.

I think working in small firms who accepts fresher will be a good start for you. Besides this, finding a job in a library, reception, restaurants, or a hotel will be a good choice as part-time work. I have some who are already working; you can take references from them. There are online jobs available, like working from home, digital marketing, and content writing, which you can do by sitting at home and also maintain your studies.
