IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You recently received a letter from a friend asking for advice about whether to go to college or to try to get a job. You think he/she should get a job.

Write a letter to this friend. In your letter

• say why he/she would not enjoy going to college
• explain why getting a job is a good idea for him/her
• suggest types of job that would be suitable for him/her

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Aman,

I hope you are doing great in your life. I was thinking about you when I received your letter. If I were you, I'd surely choose a job over the college. As you're an introvert person so it's hard for you to enjoy a student life. Also your home is quite far from your institution, so it's not a cup of tea to travel that much daily.

Furthermore, your father's health is not well. If you get a job, you can not only able to support your family but also gain experience in private sector. Apart from this, you can learn multiple skills such as problem solving, decision making and teamwork.

Moreover, you're living in urban area that's why it's not tough for you to find a job related to your field. I strongly believe you're already highly qualified. As a result, there are several jobs which can be done by you. for example, accountant, receptionist and helper.
