IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You recently received a letter from a friend asking for advice about whether to go to college or to try to get a job. You think he/she should get a job.

Write a letter to this friend. In your letter

• say why he/she would not enjoy going to college
• explain why getting a job is a good idea for him/her
• suggest types of job that would be suitable for him/her

Dear Scott,

I am writing to give you an advice on your last letter wether you need to get a job or continue your further studies

All of our friend circle is deciding to do jobs and I also suggest to do same. Secondly, now the financial condition of your home is not good as I had chat with your mother about it. Therefore, you need to focus to get a job rather than continue your studies.

Nevertheless, working in a company can enhance your practical skills and also provide you financial security. Moreover, they would build more confidence and develop communication skills which could helped to achieve targets with more efficiently.

You have done master's in financial marketing so you can apply for jobs such as accountant or finance department in companies. The theorical knowledge can help you to clear the interview and can also secure a job for you.
