IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You recently received a letter from a friend asking for advice about whether to go to college or to try to get a job. You think he/she should get a job.

Write a letter to this friend. In your letter

• say why he/she would not enjoy going to college
• explain why getting a job is a good idea for him/her
• suggest types of job that would be suitable for him/her

Dear Anna,

How are you? I hope you are doing well. I got your mail last week and I would like you to choose the job than the going back to school.

There are two main reasons, why choosing school is not thye right option. Firstly,If you are selecting the college option than it will require the tution fees. Secondly, I know you do not like the calculus subject without me.

On the other hand, selecting job option will leads you to earn money for the future tution fees and you can also enjoy the summer. Furthermore, we acn plan the camping trip to north.

I have one suggestion for the job too. I am attching the a job title and description for your reference. I am sure, you will definetly love that job of the associate. I did the co-op last winter and they will hire you, if you mention my profile.

All in all, please select the job this summer, we will go to school next term. let me know any further question you have. See you soon.
