Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You make your recommendation clear: “you should choose the job,” and you give relevant reasons, including the need for money and your friend’s interest in computer skills. You also suggest a specific role—typing—and mention a possible employer and a benefit. However, the task is only partly addressed: you do not explain why your friend would not enjoy college, and the reasons for choosing work are brief or unclear. For example, “you need money more than study” is asserted rather than developed, while the company and bonus details do not fully explain why employment suits your friend. Add a clear point about college and expand the job-related reasons with specific support.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The ideas follow a broadly understandable order: you give your advice, explain a financial reason, suggest a typing job, and offer to send an application link. Basic connectors such as “So,” “If,” and “also” help show relationships between points. However, the response is presented as one continuous block, so the reader has little visual guidance, and the progression becomes unclear near the end: “I also give the review of this company for its employs they are satisfied with it” combines several ideas without a clear link. Some references, such as “it” in “apply in it,” are also difficult to follow. Use short paragraphs for the advice, reasons, and job suggestions, and connect each point more clearly.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main idea, including “computer skills,” “typing job,” “hiring,” “bonus,” and “apply.” These choices make the suggested work reasonably clear. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, spelling, and collocation errors make parts of the letter difficult to understand, such as “interst,” “copmany,” “mojor,” and “review of this company.” Some phrases are also unnatural, including “letter typing job” and “bonus on various festivals.” Aim for more precise, natural expressions and check spelling carefully. For example, you could describe a “data-entry position” and say that the company “offers bonuses during holiday periods.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You communicate your main recommendation using mostly short, direct sentences, and you attempt a conditional structure in “If you want to apply … then tell me.” However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and frequent errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries affect accuracy. Examples include “You belongs,” “I suggests,” and “I advice,” where the verb forms do not agree with the subject, as well as “I knew a company who is hiring,” which has an inconsistent tense and an unsuitable relative pronoun. The final sentence also runs several clauses together. Practise accurate present-tense forms and use full stops or conjunctions to separate complete ideas.
