The graph below shows the average monthly change in the prices of three metals during 2014.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Average monthly change in prices of copper, nickel and zinc (2014)

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The graph chart shows that the average monthly change in the prices of three metals in 2014. We know that importance of these metals in our daily lives for being the products that we need.

The average change in the previous months happened as shows information from this chart where the starting month from january i.e, Copper started from 20% and then goes down till the june below the zero % then raises again fro july to september and then again about 5%

while the Nickel started from 60% then drops till the month of june about -30% then comes the 0% rate till octumber then gone to the 20% till december.

On the other the Zinc average price change starts from 0% then 30 %in febuery then goes doen till the octumber then raised 20 % from there, the information that has been summarises is the is the Nickel prices which has dropped the most and other two metals remain constanant in the average prices compared to the other metals in 2014.
