The graph illustrate the percentage of three different metals price changed in over a period of 2014.
Overall, The Nickel has changed drastically from highest priced metal to least. The Zinc has improved little bit by the end of the year. But, The Copper is almost same throughtout the year with slight changes.
Obvisously, we can see Nickel is leading place in january with proportion of 6. It has shown decresing trend till june upto -3% drop in price and partical rised in july and mantianed till september as -1% then declined
again and suddenly it has increase to 1% in price in the month of december.
Other metals Zinc and Copper are low price initially with 1% and 2%. The Zinc price is elevated upto 3% more in feburary and gradually the garaph has decline to -1 % in june and stabilized with this price till september and decline in october . We can see this graph of Zinc is same like Nickel from March to December . At the end price is 2% which is highest of all the three metals. Copper has marginal changes in graph between 2% to above -1%. At the end of year it is the second leading metal in the price.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response covers the main features of the graph, but the analysis is inconsistent. While you identify the trends for the three metals, the description of the data is often inaccurate. For example, you state that Nickel changed from the 'highest priced' to the 'least', but the graph shows percentage changes, not absolute prices. Furthermore, the claim that Zinc and Copper were 'low price initially' misinterprets the Y-axis, which represents monthly percentage change. To improve, focus on accurately reporting the data points provided rather than interpreting them as absolute prices. The overview is present but lacks clarity due to these factual errors.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or misused. Phrases like 'Obvisously, we can see' and 'At the end price is' feel disjointed. The logical progression is hindered by the inaccurate interpretation of the data, making it difficult to follow the comparison between the metals. While there is an attempt to use transition words, the flow between sentences is frequently interrupted by grammatical errors and awkward phrasing, which limits the overall coherence of the response.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary range is limited and repetitive. You rely on basic verbs like 'changed', 'increased', and 'declined'. There are also several spelling errors, such as 'Obvisously', 'decresing', 'partical', 'mantianed', and 'feburary'. The misuse of terms like 'leading place' and 'proportion' to describe percentage change indicates a lack of precision. To reach a higher band, you should incorporate more specific vocabulary related to data trends, such as 'fluctuated', 'remained stable', or 'peaked', and ensure that you are using terms that accurately reflect the nature of the data (percentage change vs. price).
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The response contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement ('The Nickel has changed', 'The Zinc has improved'), article usage ('The Nickel', 'the garaph'), and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or lack proper punctuation, such as 'But, The Copper is almost same throughtout the year with slight changes.' The range of structures is limited to simple sentences, and attempts at more complex constructions often result in errors. Improving basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement would significantly enhance the clarity of your writing.
