IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The graph below shows the average monthly change in the prices of three metals during 2014.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Average monthly change in prices of copper, nickel and zinc (2014)

Student answer (Band 4.5)

The graph illustrates the monthly change in the prices of three metals like copper ,nickel, and zinc in the year 2014. Nickle's Percentage increased in 1st month while it gets decreasing .

Copper kept in normal change as compared to others and zinc goes in a little different order.

First of all, Cost of Nickel in the year 2014 was 6% in J month .It decreases to 4% in F month.In the month of M and A,it falls up-to 1% and there is only a minor change in the month M.

The graph illustrates a major fall up-to -3% in J month while in month J,A and S there is again -1% transformation.1% transformation occurred in month N,D.

In short , prices of Nickel and zinc are also in same up and down as the prices of nickel.Coppers's ,monthly change is around 0% and 2%.J month having 2 % .On the other hand,D month have only 1.5% .

At the end,Zinc firstly get decreased at 1% while gets increased up-to 3%.It kept increasing and decreasing till the end of month.
