The graph below shows the average monthly change in the prices of three metals during 2014.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)
The line graph tracks the fluctuations in the prices of three metals namely copper, nickel and zinc over a twelve months period in 2014.
Overall, all three metals showed an irregular alterations over the year. At the end of the year zinc had the highest fluctuation in the price, than we had copper and at the last nickel showed the least percentage change in price .
Copper showed the highest fluctuation in prices in the month of December . In addition, it showed the least change in cost in the months of May and June. over the three months it showed no fluctuation . In the month of January it had the highest price, that is approximately two percent. A while talking about the second metal that is Nickel had exhibited the highest price in month of January. In addition in the similar month , it had
also showed , the highest price in comparison
with the other two . It demonstrated
the lowest price change in the month
of June . It also showed the constant
change for over three met months .
Moreover at the end of the year it
showed the similar constant trend .
Lastly , Zinc depicted the maximum
change alteration in price in February
Furthermore , it displayed the lowest
in the months of June and October .
Additionally , it highlighted the constant
change in three months .
