The graph below shows the average monthly change in the prices of three metals during 2014.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)
The line graph illustrates the price fluctuation of three metals in 2014 in different months. Looking from an overall perspectives it is apparent that price of nickel drastically declined while the copper and zinc price fluctuated throughout the months in 2014.
Firstly, the price of copper was at 6% in January after that price declined and reached at 1% in March and the remained same for two month. Moreover the price again dropped down reached at -3% in june. after that price increased to -1 in July and remained stable for three months. after the price again drop down and then again price increased at 1% in December.
Secondly, the copper price fluctuated throughout the year such as the price was at 2% in January and then decrease steadily and then again increased and reached at 1% in july and remained stable for three month and again fluctuate
