The graph below shows the average monthly change in the prices of three metals during 2014.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)
The illustration gives information about the change in prices of three metals which were copper nickel and the last one was zinc during the year of 2014. Overall,the prices of given matals were different at the start of year but at the end of year prices were at the same point approximately with smaller difference.
It is quite evident from the pie graph that price of nickel fall down to 4% from 6% in Feburary and countinously reduction still the end of month March. At the start of June its price had jumped from -3% to -1% .From july to August, its price was not changed. However, its price again decrease in the month of September from -1% to -2% .In October its slighlty improved from -2% to 1% , and at the end of the year 2014 its price was remained same as in second last month.
Furthermore, the prices of zinc increase from 1% to 3% in the month of Januray to Feburary. After Feburary ,its price was regularly droped from 3% to -1% ,and we can see that there was little increase in the price of zinc.
