The graph below shows the average monthly change in the prices of three metals during 2014.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)
The line gragh presents the information of proportional monthly changes in the price of metals such as copper, nickel and zinc through out the whole year of 2014.
Overall, the average monthly price changes of copper decreased slightly over the period. While Nickel mean price decreased significantly. On the flip side, the price of Zinc had increased marginally after few fluctuations through out the period.
In january 2014, changes in price of Nickel were at highest around 6% before dropping at 1% in March, but in June it lowered again and reached at -3%. After some more fluctuations it increased to 1%.
Copper were started at 2% monthly price changes, afterwards it showed a lowered trend. It was between 0% and -1% in june, when it took a jump in july at 1%, after that it stayed constant till september. Subsequesntly reached at near to 2% in december after 0.5% in months like october and november
