The graph below shows the average monthly change in the prices of three metals during 2014.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Average monthly change in prices of copper, nickel and zinc (2014)

Student answer (Band 4.0)

The price of goods vary each month.High price mostly due to shortage of product in market or raw material in industry.

Here we discuss the three metals price very in each month of 2014

Firsty we go with copper in januray it change 2 percent in previous month but fall from 2 to 1 percent chang in march it was in between 1 to 0 and consistant in april and then from 0 percent and consistant in may and june and it rise to 1percent and consistant till september in october it fall and consistant till november and then rise in december.

Secendly zinc price was at 1 percent and it rise 1 to 3 percent change in february

in march it fall to 2 percenty and in april it in between 1 to 2 percent and fall at 1 percent then fall in minus 1 in june and july it come in between 0 to -1 and consistant till september and fall in -1 and rise greatly above 2 in november and rise till 2 percent in december.

Thirdly priceof nickal was 6 percent anf fall in 4 percent in february and then fall in 1 till march and consistant and fall in march in between 1 to 0 anf fall -3 in june and in july it rise to -1 and cosistant till september in october it -2 and rise to 1 percent till december.
