The graph below shows the average monthly change in the prices of three metals during 2014.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The given graph shows the change in percentage of three metals which include copper, nickel and zin with the previous one. From the picture, we can clearly see that there has been drastically fall in the price of Nickel until March and reached to 1%. Also, it has agained declined to June by 3% and started to rise up from July reaching to 1% by the end of

December. As compared to Nickel, Copper is slowly moving downards withou falling and reached by 1.5%. In addition to this, Zinc has been rising up from 1 to 2% since begining. And then, it again declined reacing to 3% from 3%.

In conclusion, from the chart given we can say that the price of Zinc remain constant throughout the year whereas, the Copper and Nickel
