The graph below shows the average monthly change in the prices of three metals during 2014.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)
The line grah illustrates the overall monthly change in the prices of 3 different types of metal in 2014
Prices of theses metals fluctuated most in 12 months. There is an great increase noted in the price of Nickel which upto 6% in January whcih gradualy decreased from Feburary to March. After March the price of nickel remain static til May and decreased upto 3% in the month of June. After this month the price remained unchanged till september. Small fluctuation was observed in October and after that increase in the price was observed in November to december.
The prices of Copper and Zinc fluctuated throughut in 2014. The price of copper shows decline from January to May and remained static till June Sudden increse was observed in the prices from June to September whic remain same. Small flucutaion was observed in October which remain same till December.
The prices of zinc shows so much fluctuation throught the year. An increase of 3 % prices was noted in the month of Feburary and after that prices reduces from March to October. A small rise was observed in the prices of zinc In November to December.
