The graph below shows the average monthly change in the prices of three metals during 2014.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)
The given graph illustrates the changes occur in the prices of metals like copper, nickle and zinc. As per the graph, it clearly demonstrate that price of nickel was all time high at %6 in january 2014 and also it was all time low at -3% in jun 2014. If we make a comparison between these three metals copper and zinc were relatively remained in between 0 to 1%. But, there was a huge up and down in the prices of Nickel as it clearly shows in graph. In July, August and September the prices remained constant at -1% and in October it was -2%. In novemeber and december it took a jump from -2% to 1%. If we talk about the other two metals that are copper and zinc, only the zinc price declined in minus in June and october 2014. Comparatively copper remained constant at all the time.
