The graph below shows the average monthly change in the prices of three metals during 2014.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 4.0)

introduction = i could see that. There is difference between the prices of 3 differect material name (copper , nickel , zinc).

overall the rate of nickel was very high in first month of the year 2014 but segnifiently they decrease in february and march but in aprail the cost of nickel remain constant after that in aprail cost of material of nickle slightly go down and in july the maximum coast reduced in july but in nest month from july to september coast reman constant but in october again cost reduced and in final the cost of nickel increased in month of november and december.

overall copper showes s pattern of pricing in first month of year 2014 start doing decreasing and then stop for one month from march to aprail after that they decrease their price and remain constant in may to june after that price of copper start increasing and same for month july to september and in octomer and november price of copper again decrease and in final month of year the price of copper increased.

overall zinc shows copper like pattern in first month of starting they increased their prices then decrease their prices signeficently from february to march after that they jump in very low price month for zinc in month of june and after that in july they again gain their prices and remain constant from july to september after that they decuct their prices in month of october after that in month of november and december tey shows increasing pattern

conclusion in the starting the of 2014 the prices of these material in higher position but when the year start they all start doing decreasing prices but zinc start in growing section and at the end of the year the prices of these material decreased but only zinc is in proffitble sector
