Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response addresses the task only partially. While you attempt to cover all three metals, the information presented is limited, highly generalised, and contains several inaccurate readings of the graph. For instance, stating that Nickel 'played a decreasing role during the year. Start with 6% and after shows some fluctuating ends with 1%' misses significant interim movements and mischaracterises the overall trend, as Nickel actually experienced a sharp drop in mid-year before recovering. Furthermore, your overview is somewhat unclear and lacks precision. To reach a higher band, you need to select and report the most salient features more accurately and provide a clearer, more fully developed summary of the overall trends without relying on vague assertions.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is some organisation in the response, but it lacks a clear overall progression. You have attempted to structure your writing with an introduction, body details, and a conclusion; however, the transitions between sentences and paragraphs feel mechanical and abrupt. For example, sentences like 'Start with 6% and after shows some fluctuating ends with 1%' lack proper grammatical subjects and cohesive links, making the logical flow difficult to follow. Referencing is also weak, as pronouns and transition phrases such as 'then after a upword market' do not connect ideas smoothly. To improve in this area, you should ensure that each paragraph has a distinct focus and that ideas are linked logically using appropriate and accurate cohesive devices.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

The vocabulary used is limited and barely adequate for the task. There are noticeable lexical errors, incorrect word forms, and spelling mistakes throughout the text, such as 'pricws', 'there' instead of 'three', 'Nicle', 'countinuesly', 'stactics', 'Coper', 'conclution', and 'dramatical distraction'. These errors and awkward collocations cause some difficulty for the reader and impede clear communication. To achieve a higher band, you need to expand your vocabulary range, use precise terms related to data trends (such as 'fluctuate', 'decline', or 'gradual'), and check your spelling carefully to ensure that less common lexical items are used accurately.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

Your writing demonstrates a very limited range of structures, with frequent grammatical errors that often cause difficulty for the reader. There are persistent issues with verb forms, tense consistency, and missing sentence elements, such as in 'The Copper and Zinc are presented the same type of stactics' and 'Zinc started with 1% got a quick up to 3% and steadly fallen to -1% with a bit upword it fishied the round at 2%'. Attempts at complex structures are frequently faulty, and basic punctuation and capitalization rules are occasionally overlooked. To improve, you should focus on mastering simple sentence construction while ensuring subject-verb agreement and correct prepositions, before attempting more complex grammatical patterns.
