Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses all parts of the prompt by discussing both views and providing a personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is inconsistent. While the first body paragraph attempts to link hobbies to professional skills, the reasoning is somewhat disjointed and lacks clarity, particularly in the section regarding marital status. The second body paragraph provides relevant arguments regarding privacy and security, but the overall position could be more clearly articulated throughout the essay. Some ideas are repetitive, and the connection between personal information and professional competence remains under-developed in places.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear attempt to use cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'On the other hand', and 'To conclude'. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or inaccurate, such as the abrupt transition 'For instunce' which is left hanging. Referencing is occasionally unclear, and the flow between sentences is sometimes interrupted by grammatical errors. While the overall progression is coherent, the lack of smooth transitions between some ideas prevents the essay from reaching a higher band.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but there are frequent spelling errors that occasionally impede readability, such as 'devided', 'mariteillll', 'proffesionall', 'companis', and 'ricruitment'. The range of vocabulary is somewhat limited, relying on basic terms. While the student attempts to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'recruitment process' and 'professional qualities', the high frequency of spelling mistakes and the misuse of words like 'denied to this trend' (instead of 'opposed') indicate a need for more precise word choice and better proofreading.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('many business and companis are ask'), article usage ('a married person have'), and sentence fragments or run-on sentences. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing commas and incorrect capitalization. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high density of errors in basic grammar and sentence construction limits the score. More attention to verb forms and sentence boundaries is required.
