Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays, There is a very common topic going on that hiring department ask the candidates regarding there personal information, For instance their like and dislike, along with their martial status. In which some people believe that it is a important for hiring purpose. While, others believe it is not a mandatory information. In upcoming paragraph i will discuss both points and discuss my view.
Firstly, few employers believe that it is a psychology question which can tell a lot about the upcoming employers. For example, They believe hobbies will demonstrate about their skills and will be easy for them to select candidates by matching their skill as per the skills they are looking for in a worker. Secondly, nowadays companies want their organization to be fully available, which married occupants will not able be able to fulfill.
On the other hand, some believe that a company can not decide whether they want to hire that individual by their martial status as well as by the things they like to do. Foremost reason for this, few people are not comfortable to share their sensitive information. In addition, they think organization should ask the relevant question regarding the position they applied to.
In Conclusion, In my opinion I would say that it is a very important question to ask people who came for interview. This is because, This type of questions can easily tell abundance of things about the person as compare to actually asking question regarding job. Moreover, Company prefer to have candidates who have good type of skills and availability which can grow there company. At last I believe this it is a important and useful questions to ask.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt by discussing both views and providing a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument regarding 'married occupants' being unable to fulfill company needs is a generalization that lacks sufficient explanation or logical support. While the position is consistent throughout, the supporting arguments are brief and could be more thoroughly explored to reach a higher band. The response stays on topic, but the depth of analysis is restricted by the limited range of vocabulary and grammatical structures used to express these ideas.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the progression of ideas. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'Firstly', 'Secondly', 'On the other hand', and 'In Conclusion'. However, the use of these devices is somewhat mechanical and repetitive. Additionally, there are issues with referencing and sentence-level flow, such as the awkward phrasing in the introduction: 'In which some people believe that it is a important for hiring purpose.' The transition between ideas is functional but lacks the sophistication required for higher bands, as the connection between sentences sometimes feels disjointed.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision needed for a higher score. There are several noticeable errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'martial status' (should be 'marital status'), 'psychology question' (should be 'psychological question'), and 'upcoming employers' (should be 'prospective employees'). The student relies on basic vocabulary and struggles with accurate terminology related to the topic. While the meaning is generally clear, the frequent errors in word formation and collocation prevent the response from reaching a higher band.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow. Examples include 'hiring department ask' (subject-verb agreement), 'it is a important' (article usage), and 'as compare to' (should be 'compared to'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with unnecessary capitalization (e.g., 'There', 'For', 'In') and comma splices. While the student attempts complex structures, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar and sentence construction limits the score. The majority of sentences are not error-free.
