Student answer (Band 6.0)
A community of people believes that while getting a new job, the personal information asked by employers is not crucial, however others say that this information might be useful to get a job according to their interest. I will discuss both the views in the upcoming paragraphs.
First thought of people who do not like to share their personal information like the hobbies or marital status, because they think that there is no reason to share personal life to someone while applying for a job. For example, one of my friend got a job in a restaurant and she provided all the personal information to the employer that she is divorced. After some time, the whole staff started asking her what happened to their marriage why they got divorced, and all, by which she started feeling akward at that environment and she left the job at the end. Hence, this kind of personal information is highly sensitive, which can only be understood by family members. Some outsiders do not understand these situations, they just enjoy and make fun.
On the other hand, a group of individuals like to share their interests, hobbies and all personal information. Therefore, they believe if they will tell about themselves to the employer, it would be easy for them to get a job of their interest. This situation can allow the job owner that in which field they should have hired the candidate. By which both will get the benefit, people will work with full interest because of they got the job in the field they are interested, which will help company to grow more.
In short, both views have their own advantages, sharing personal information can benefit people to get a job of their interest, while it can be stressfull, if it gets used in wrong way.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a personal opinion, though the opinion is somewhat brief. The ideas are relevant, but the development is uneven. For instance, the example regarding the restaurant worker is clear and illustrative, but the argument for sharing information is less developed and relies on somewhat vague reasoning about company growth. To improve, ensure that the benefits of sharing personal information are explored with more specific examples or deeper logical analysis. The position is clear throughout, meeting the requirements for a Band 6.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'First', 'On the other hand', and 'In short', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'By which both will get the benefit'. Additionally, the referencing is sometimes unclear, such as the use of 'they' when referring to the employer or the candidate. The progression of ideas is generally logical, but the flow could be smoother with more varied linking words and better control over pronoun references.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express their ideas clearly. There are some attempts at less common vocabulary, but these are sometimes used inaccurately or in a way that sounds unnatural, such as 'job owner' instead of 'employer' or 'get a job of their interest'. Spelling is generally accurate, but there are minor errors like 'akward' (awkward) and 'stressfull' (stressful). The range of vocabulary is sufficient to communicate the message, but it lacks the precision and flexibility required for a higher band score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement, article usage, and sentence construction (e.g., 'one of my friend', 'the job owner that in which field', 'because of they got the job'). These errors are noticeable and occasionally distract the reader, though they do not impede overall communication. To reach a higher band, the student should focus on improving accuracy in complex sentence structures and ensuring consistent control over basic grammar rules.
