Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
The response addresses the prompt minimally, attempting to discuss both personal information in job applications and give an opinion. However, the ideas remain heavily limited and under-developed. For example, the writer touches on the idea that matching jobs to personal interests brings joy, as seen in the phrase 'people are doing their job according to their interest more likely are happy', but this point is not extended or supported with clear reasoning. Similarly, the alternative view regarding marital status or personal life pressure is only superficially mentioned through the phrase 'if he married then he is feels more discomfrot'. The position is discernible at the end, but the overall lack of fully explored arguments means the task is only partially satisfied, keeping the response at this level.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
There is some basic organisation attempted through line breaks and transitional phrases, such as 'On The Other Hand' and 'According To My Prospective', yet the text lacks a clear overall progression. Information and ideas are often grouped without logical flow, and referencing is frequently unclear, making it difficult to follow the relationships between sentences. For instance, the transition from discussing job interests to marital status is abrupt and tangled within long, run-on sentences like 'if he married then he is feels more discomfrot in his place because he has to manage his family as well he is exhausted in his work how can he handle the personal activities'. Cohesive devices are used mechanically or are missing entirely, leading to a choppy and disjointed reading experience.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, relying heavily on everyday words and conversational filler like 'now a days', 'folks', and 'things'. There are noticeable errors in word choice, word form, and spelling throughout the text, such as 'empolye' for employee, 'relvent feild' for relevant field, 'familier job' for familiar or related job, 'owerful' or 'awelful' (written as 'aweful'), and 'discomfrot'. These lexical inaccuracies and limitations are frequent and occasionally cause some difficulty for the reader in grasping the exact intended meaning, restricting the score to this band.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The writing demonstrates a very limited range of grammatical structures, consisting mostly of poorly controlled simple sentences linked improperly with coordinating conjunctions or lacking necessary punctuation. There is an absence of accurate complex sentence forms, and attempts at subordination result in frequent errors in verb forms, tenses, subject-verb agreement, and missing articles. Examples include 'many people wants to do a job', 'a folks are asking to numerous persons', 'he do not like to do is worst thing', and 'an indiviual shoud do a work'. These frequent grammatical errors heavily disrupt the flow of sentences and often distort the meaning for the reader.
