Student answer (Band 5.5)
To fill a job application forms, employers usually asked for ones personal information like their hobbies, intreasts and weather the candidate is married or single. whereas some people believe that this information is essential, while others think it is useless.
According to my perspective i strongly agree with this notion that individuals information is beneficial. In this essay i will discuss both the views, along with my opinion.
The main advantage of having personal information of an employers is significantly important. According to the criteria of the job market, basic details about workers help, company to familliar with the candidate life. when an organization conduct interviews, these introduction questions help the recrutement team to judge the abilities of the person, likewise when asked the question about your hoppies, so how an individual respond make easy for hiring team to take decision. For examples,Big organisation have a specific set of interview questions by which they can judge the behavioural aspects of the one and based on this they offers the job to candidate.
on the other hand, some portion of siciety believe that personal information should not be disclosed to anyone because they want to maintain privacy in their personal life. Individuals believe firms should offer jobs based on their education level and skills abilities. To elabourate, if a person is educated and have qualities to contribute to companies growth then only one can work and gain benefits for company. Rather then judging and giving jobs based on life related opening questions. For illustration, a government survey held in March, 2026 illustrate the figures that companies were experienced loss as they dont have sufficient skilled and educated person in their organozation.
In conclusion, I would say that to work in team or in organization behavioural questions are very important, which give an idea to employee either the candidate fits in the company environment or not. Although the range of personal question should be limited depending upon weather the person is comfortable to answer that question.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and make your position clear: you support using some personal information, while concluding that questions should be limited to what applicants are comfortable answering. The discussion of privacy and hiring based on education and skills is relevant. However, the case for employers collecting hobbies and relationship status is less fully explained: the response mainly says these details help interviewers judge behaviour, without showing when they are genuinely relevant to job performance. The example about a government survey and company losses is also not clearly connected to the claim, and its figures are not explained. Develop each view with a specific, plausible example and distinguish job-related questions from intrusive personal details to make the argument more convincing and complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion that restates your position. Transitions such as “on the other hand” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the overall direction. However, some links are mechanical or unclear. For example, “likewise when asked the question about your hoppies” does not connect smoothly to the preceding point, and the shift from skills-based hiring to the survey example is abrupt. References such as “this information,” “they,” and “one” are not always precise, so readers may need to infer who or what is meant. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each example explicitly to the claim it supports; this would make the progression more consistent.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary suited to the topic, including “behavioural aspects,” “maintain privacy,” “education level,” and “contribute to companies growth.” These choices show an effort to discuss recruitment and workplace suitability rather than relying only on basic terms. However, spelling errors and inaccurate word choices are noticeable, including “intreasts,” “familliar,” “recrutement,” and “organazation.” Some phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, such as “personal information of an employers” and “life related opening questions,” which can make the intended meaning harder to follow. Build accuracy by checking spelling and learning common collocations for hiring, qualifications, and privacy. Prefer precise, familiar expressions over ambitious wording that does not fit the context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a conditional structure in “if a person is educated and have qualities…” and a contrast introduced by “Although.” This gives the response some variety, but errors in sentence construction and control recur. For example, “employers usually asked” uses an unsuitable tense, “a person is educated and have qualities” has subject–verb disagreement, and “Although the range of personal question should be limited…” is a dependent clause presented as a complete sentence. There are also problems with articles, plurals, and punctuation, such as “a job application forms” and missing sentence-initial capitals. Review agreement, tense consistency, and complete sentence boundaries, then proofread each sentence for these patterns.
