Student answer (Band 5.5)

People being asked by some comapanies in thier interviews before hiring about thier hobbies and personal questionaires. Some people finds that thing useful and some not. In this upcoming paragraphs I will discuss both sides.

Some individuals think that it's positive developoment because it the employer finds out that work is your interest then they will know you will do that work by heart. That work sparks ingnite in your heart to do and you will do great. which is good thing for both. Moreover, they don't need to teach you more that saves your time and you can start work after short period of time. To examplify the boss know that emplyee has interest in parts then they will put employee on that section and they know how much time you need to complete tasks on that.

On the other hand, some people finds that awful because of they don't like someone asks about thier personal question because they like to be grounded. Most of women don't like if someone ask about thier personal life like they are single or married. So, in this case someone misbehabve with them and irritate in some matters. Moreover, some people don't want to talk about themselves to others.

In conclusion, in my perspective,if someone ask about thier interest and hobbies that good way to know them better. However if someone ask about thier privacy and personal question like they married or single then it may be not suitable for some individuals to ask.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both views and give a personal position: you support asking about hobbies and interests, while questioning requests about marital status and other private matters. This distinction is relevant and gives the response a clear central idea. However, the discussion is only partly developed. The claim that an employer can place someone in a suitable section is useful, but the example about an employee’s interest in “parts” and how long tasks take is unclear. The concerns about privacy and possible mistreatment are also asserted rather than explained or illustrated. To strengthen the response, explain more precisely when personal interests help assess job suitability and why relationship status should not influence hiring, using a clear, relevant example for each view.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion that restates your position. This makes the main line of discussion easy to follow. You also use signposts such as “Moreover,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” to show relationships between ideas. At times, however, the progression within paragraphs is less clear. For example, the point about an employer saving time moves quickly to assigning an employee to a section, without fully connecting the reasoning. Some references, such as “that thing” and “that work,” are vague, and the conclusion repeats the distinction without adding much synthesis. Use clearer references and develop each paragraph around one connected chain of explanation.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “employer,” “personal life,” “privacy,” “interest,” and “individuals,” so the reader can generally understand the discussion. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or unnatural choices make parts difficult to interpret. Phrases such as “sparks ingnite in your heart,” “grounded,” and “interest in parts” do not clearly express the intended meaning in this context. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “comapanies,” “thier,” “developoment,” and “emplyee.” Aim for precise, conventional wording about job suitability and privacy, and check spelling carefully. Choosing familiar, accurate collocations will make your ideas clearer than attempting expressions whose meaning is uncertain.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a conditional idea in “if someone ask about their interest and hobbies,” and you use linking clauses to explain consequences. However, control is inconsistent, and errors in sentence structure, agreement, articles, and punctuation sometimes make the meaning harder to follow. For example, “Some people finds” has subject–verb disagreement, while “because of they don't like” uses an incorrect clause pattern. The opening sentence is also incomplete or difficult to parse, and “which is good thing” lacks a clear grammatical connection and article. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check agreement and clause patterns. More accurate control of these structures would make your reasoning easier to understand.
