Write a letter to the manager of the hotel. In your letter

• say where you think you left the papers
• explain why they are so important
• tell the manager what you want him/her to do

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter regarding the papers I left in one of yours hotel room. Last week, I booked room number 201 at your inn. I stayed there for two days. When I was about to leave I forgot my important documents on the table which is adjacent to the bed. After arranging them in serial order, I placed them on that table and left the room. It's a dark brown colored table with flower patterns on it.

These documents are so essential for me as they will be required when I have to apply for my university admission. They all were put together in a yellow envelope. It includes my birth certificate, high school degree, recommendation letters etc.

I kindly request you to collect them from the room and leave them safely at the reception. I am visiting again to your hotel this weekend and will them from the reception desk.
