Write a letter to the manager of the hotel. In your letter

• say where you think you left the papers
• explain why they are so important
• tell the manager what you want him/her to do

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to inform you that I may have left my documents during my stay in your hotel. I stayed there from Monday to Thursday last week. I belive I left the papers on the front desk in the room C105, where I was working in the each evening.

These documents are very important because they contain confidential information and the details regarding my upcoming meeting. Loosing this documents could cause serious issue for my work, so I am very anxious to recover the papers as soon as possible.

I would request to check my room and the lost-and-found section if the papers have been collected by your staff. When you find them, please store it safely at the reception so that I can come pick it up or I can send one of my collegues to receive it.

Thank you very much for your assistance. I apologize for the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate the attention into this matter.
