Write a letter to the manager of the hotel. In your letter

• say where you think you left the papers
• explain why they are so important
• tell the manager what you want him/her to do

Dear Sir or Madam,

Student answer (Band 6.0)

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to inform you that I had lost my important papers at your hotel during my recent visit.

Actually, couple of days before I stayed in your hotel at room-202 while my stay I think I left some significant documents on the desk which was located next to bed. Moreover, these documents are in file of black color and Some text written on it "informational paper".

That papers are so important for me because my all the management of office was written in it. Tomorrow is my great presentation at office and I need to explicate everything whatever written in that file. However, due to the lost I need to pay a great risk with my position at work. Adding to this, my boss wants to do my promotion because of my abilities and awareness regarding work but if he knows I misplaced crucial documents he will be disappointed with me.

I request you to kindly check that papers for me and if you are able to find them please let me know as your earliest convenience.
