IELTS Writing Task 1 question

Write a letter to the manager of the hotel. In your letter

• say where you think you left the papers
• explain why they are so important
• tell the manager what you want him/her to do

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir or Madam,

Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter to request and inform you about my documents that mistakenly left in one of your room.

I stayed at your hotel with my family last weekend in room number 317. The reservation was under my name. The stay was really amazing and I loved the services that were provided by you and your staff. My whole trip was successful and comfortable due to facilities you have provided us.

While we were packing for our return I kept the health insurance papers on the table that I had purchased from there. Unfortunately I forgot to put them back in my bag as taxi had already arrived and we were late for our flight.

The papers are really important as my wife's health is so critical, she is in hospital. I need that document urgently. I would like to request handover that document to my brother-in-law Suraj, he will be at the premises around 3 PM today.

I would really appreciate for your this help.
