Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

You have addressed all three bullet points required by the prompt: identifying the location of the papers, explaining their importance, and requesting action from the manager. However, the development of these points is limited by significant language errors that make the message difficult to follow at times. For example, while you mention the papers are a 'job offer leater', the explanation of why they are important is somewhat repetitive and lacks clarity. To improve, ensure that each point is explained with more precision and professional tone, as this is a formal letter to a hotel manager.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The letter is divided into paragraphs, which is a good start. However, the logical progression of ideas is frequently interrupted by grammatical errors and awkward phrasing. The use of cohesive devices is very limited and often inaccurate, such as the misuse of 'So that one' and 'moreover can please'. The referencing is also unclear in places, making it difficult for the reader to follow the flow of the narrative. To improve, focus on using simple, clear linking words like 'therefore', 'additionally', and 'consequently' to connect your sentences more effectively.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

Your vocabulary is quite basic and there are numerous spelling errors that impede communication, such as 'inditifiy' (identify), 'leater' (letter), 'fucher' (future), and 'preast' (present). You rely on simple words and struggle to use appropriate collocations for a formal letter. While the meaning is generally understandable, the frequent errors in word choice and spelling significantly limit your ability to convey your message professionally. You should focus on learning the correct spelling of common words and practicing formal business vocabulary.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5

There is a lack of control over basic grammatical structures. You frequently omit necessary articles, misuse verb tenses, and struggle with sentence construction, such as 'I am writing this letter to inform to you I miss very important papers'. There are also persistent issues with punctuation and capitalization. While you attempt some complex ideas, the errors are frequent and often cause difficulty for the reader. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence structures, subject-verb agreement, and the correct use of prepositions before attempting more complex grammatical forms.
