Write a letter to the manager of the hotel. In your letter

• say where you think you left the papers
• explain why they are so important
• tell the manager what you want him/her to do

Dear Sir or Madam,

I hope you are doing well sir/madam, I would love to express my wonderful experience at restaurant that I visited with my friends two days before. Unfortunately, I have forgot my important paper at hotel reception desk. I submitted my papers at reception desk before dinner, once finished I forgot to carry with me by the time to go.

The papers are very important for me as it is my exam papers which I received from a friend. I was very deeply enjoying with my friends at hotel during meal time so I completely forgot to carry. Exam going to conduct on upcoming week.

Therefore, it is my request to you would you submit my papers at front desk and let the person know who is going to work at reception desk , please let me know what is best time to collect my papers back from hotel so I can start working on it.

I hope once you receive my message and reply with date and time so I can get ready for it.
