Write a letter to the manager of the hotel. In your letter

• say where you think you left the papers
• explain why they are so important
• tell the manager what you want him/her to do

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir or Madam,

Student answer (Band 7.0)

Dear Sir or Madam,

I visited your restaurant last night along with few of my friends. While enjoying the food and the moment I happen to leave behind some of my important documents at the dinning table. Because they are very important I would appreciate if you could get them delivered to me as soon as possible.

During the dinner, I put a yellow looking folder next to the window dinining table on which I was dinning on. The file holds some important travel documents like the travel tickets and my family passports along with some cash in a small brown wallet within the folder.Since I have my flight scheduled the day after tomorrow, I would require those documents as soon as possible to travel.

I would appreciate if you could secure and enclose the documents in a proper manner and send it via express mail so I could receive them by tomorrow earliest. I am willing to pay for any cost incurred to send this papers. I will attach my address details to you along with this email.

I thank you in advance for your coperation and also apologize for any incovience caused for this. Hope to hear from you soon.
