Write a letter to the manager of the hotel. In your letter

• say where you think you left the papers
• explain why they are so important
• tell the manager what you want him/her to do

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir or Madam,

Student answer (Band 5.0)

Dear Sir,

I am night supervisor in the hotel best western. I currently handles all the paper work related to pay stubs, hiring fair and other financial work stuff.

Today, i attend the hiring fair that happened in the evening in our hotel. It was really nice to meet new candidates and get to know about their experience, soft skills and work ethics. I gather the best candidates profiles short listed for our new day time supervisor role that opened recently.

This is my duty to keep all the confidential paper work safe and secure, so i put the important documents in the safe locker in our head office. Moreover, I also kept all the documents related to our current deal with the another branch hotel . Please have a look whenever you get chance.

Furthermore, I want you to check all the shortlisted profile for the role of supervisor. It is really important to fill that position quickly because all the responsibilities are on my shoulder now and sometimes it is very hectic to handle by myself. I do need support from you and as a manager i think it is your duty to take care of your staff.
