IELTS Writing Task 1 question

Write a letter to the manager of the hotel. In your letter

• say where you think you left the papers
• explain why they are so important
• tell the manager what you want him/her to do

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir or Madam,

Student answer (Band 6.5)

Dear Manager,

I hope you are doing well. I am writing this email to let you know that i left the paper on my hotel room desk yesterday. When i went to the hospital, i suddenly realized that they were the medical bills and other imprtant documents which i was going to submit to my insurance company tomorrow. I think you can find it on the right corner of the desk.

These papers are very cruicial for the insurance claims. I wanted to check if you can submit that document to my insurance company. I want you to get the paper converted into pdf form and then make the submission. I will be in the hospital because my mother is having is heart surgery there ,so i want you to complete the submission.

I am going to share you the login and other information which will be required for the submission. I hope to hear from you soon.
