Write a letter to the manager of the hotel. In your letter

• say where you think you left the papers
• explain why they are so important
• tell the manager what you want him/her to do

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to request for searching my papers that I forgot during my stay in your hotel. I stayed at 'Blue Jay' hotel located in Toronto, Onatrio for two days.

I had kept my documents, such as work permit, Sin number, and driving licence in a green file that I put on a round table, and the table was near the cupboard. I think I left my file there.

These documents are extemely important as I have recently joined a new company; therefore, employer asked me about original proofs for working at the organisation. I have to submit these papers within one week.

I would be thankful if you could ask your housekeeping department if they found any file from that table. If they found it , please send me via express post. I would be happy to pay all the expenses that cost you by online banking app.

I am looking forward to hearing positive response in this matter.
