Write a letter to the manager of the hotel. In your letter

• say where you think you left the papers
• explain why they are so important

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing this letter to seek your help regarding the misplace of my important documents that I believe I left in the room during my stay at your hotel. My name is Navdeep Chauhan and I recently stayed at your hotel during my visit to Toronto city. Upon my return, when I unpacked my luggage I noticed one of the file is missing from the briefcase. The last time I remember I had that file out of the brief case when I was in room and going through the documents. I may have accidently left in the drawer of the side table next to bed and forget to keep it back.

Those missing documents are really important for me as they hold significant confidential company's information. I could be in big trouble due to incident.

I kindly request you to please check with the hotel staff especially with the housekeeping, if they have found concerned papers. If not, I request you kindly do a thorough check of the same room.

I have attached the hotel booking to thie letter. Let me know if you have any more questions.
