Write a letter to the manager of the hotel. In your letter

• say where you think you left the papers
• explain why they are so important

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to request to find some essentials papers which I left accidently in room no 302 during my stay at your hotel.

I travelled from Vancouver to Toronto for a business trip and booked your hotel for a night on 26 September, 2026. After attending the meeting I placed these papers in the drawer beside the bed. Due to fatigue and stress of catching the next flight on time I missed checking all my belongings and forgot to collect the papers.

These documents are important for me as they are the only proof of the co-operate deal I made yesterday. By not having their physical copy with will create extreme challenges for me to follow the business in the future.

I would kindly request you to inform me regarding the location of these documents at your earliest convenience. This would allow me to arrange someone to collect them from your hotel.

I believe you will take prompt action to find the lost papers. I look foward to hearing from you.
