Dear manager,

I hope you are doing well. I spend two days in your hotel room. And my room no was 231. I left my documents file over there near the almirah. I think there was a small table near rhe almirah where i left my papers. That papers are really important for me because it has my licence, my health reports and so on. Consequently that papers are really beneficial for me. Because next week i have to go to the hospital with that reports. I request could you please find that papers for me in the room. That's really help me a lot. I really appreciate you.

Thank you for your time and understanding.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three points: you identify room 231 and say the papers may be on a small table near the almirah, explain that they include your licence and health reports, and ask the manager to look for them. The reason is relevant, especially the hospital visit next week, but the importance of the licence is not explained, and the request could be more specific—for example, asking the hotel to contact you if the papers are found and arrange their return. The response is also 29 words below the required minimum, so there is limited space to develop these details. Add a little more explanation and a clear follow-up request while keeping the letter focused.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The information follows a sensible order: you describe your stay and the likely location, explain why the papers matter, and then make a request. This gives the letter an overall coherent arrangement. However, the ideas are presented as one continuous block, and several links feel mechanical or unclear. For instance, “Consequently that papers are really beneficial for me” repeats the importance rather than advancing the explanation, while “Because next week…” is separated as a fragment. Use clear paragraphing for the location, importance, and request, and connect the reason directly to the papers’ contents. This would make the progression easier to follow and the cohesion less repetitive.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough task-related vocabulary to communicate the main message, including “documents,” “licence,” “health reports,” and “hospital.” However, the range is limited and some choices are unnatural or imprecise, such as “documents file,” “over there,” and “really beneficial for me.” “That papers” also shows inaccurate word choice and form, while “almirah” may not be familiar to every reader; “wardrobe” or “cupboard” would be clearer. Spelling and capitalization slips, including “rhe” and “i,” also affect presentation. Aim for precise, natural phrases such as “a folder containing my documents” and “essential for my upcoming hospital appointment.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

Your message is understandable, and you attempt both simple statements and longer explanations. Some grammatical errors remain, particularly in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries. For example, “I spend two days” should be “I spent two days,” and “That papers … it has” needs plural agreement, such as “Those papers … they contain.” The opening “And my room no was 231” is an awkward sentence fragment, while “Because next week…” is also incomplete. The request, “I request could you please find,” combines two structures incorrectly. Practise forming complete sentences and checking tense and singular/plural agreement; these changes will make your meaning more consistently clear.
