Student answer (Band 6.0)

Education is the most important thing in childerns life . While there is always debate on this fact that ,Few individulas feels edaucation from lower level to upper level only focus on reading books and ignores practical activities. I can agree with this notion and will discuss in forthcoimg paragraphs.

There are plenty of reasons to agree this notion , the first and the formost one is childern only know the bookish language despite from the actual use of facts. For instance, Childern only study about polinations of vegetables but not see thisnin real life how this works . Moreover , The syllabus of even lower grades are to much , that juvllince can not get chance to explorer the practical skill. For instance , I felt so exhausted after school hours and homeworks i can not try new things.

One more reason to support this notion, Education authorites does not want to spent more money on practical lectures . For example, School and univerties are not fire staff for practical lectaure , they put all responsiblity to one teacher who has to cover books syllabus. In Addition eductional instites want to get good scores across the city or state , they only focus on writing exams . For example my school want to be number 1 school in city so they push childerns so hard to get good ranks in borad exams so there school will get more childerns and there business will grow

In conclusion , some people think schools and universties are only give theory based learings and not giving proper practical learning . I can completely agree with this beacuse childerns not know to use the theory into real life , thye give imense of syllabus to teacher and students they do not focus on practical things. they only focus on growing their businness and not to educate children

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position and providing reasons for the argument. The ideas are relevant, such as the focus on bookish knowledge versus practical application and the pressure on schools to prioritize exam results over holistic education. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. The examples provided, such as the mention of pollination or the pressure to be the 'number 1 school', are clear but could be expanded with more sophisticated analysis to reach a higher band. The position is consistent throughout the essay, meeting the requirements for a Band 6.0.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. There is a clear progression of ideas. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate (e.g., 'the first and the formost one', 'One more reason to support this notion'). Additionally, there are issues with referencing and punctuation that occasionally make the flow feel disjointed. While the overall arrangement is coherent, the lack of flexible and accurate cohesive devices prevents a higher score.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks precision and variety. There are frequent spelling errors (e.g., 'childerns', 'juvllince', 'edaucation', 'lectaure') and some awkward word choices (e.g., 'fire staff' instead of 'hire staff', 'immense of syllabus'). While the meaning is generally clear, the limited range and persistent spelling errors indicate a Band 5.0 level. To improve, you should focus on learning the correct spelling of common academic terms and using more precise collocations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('Education authorites does not'), article usage, and sentence fragments or run-on sentences. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with spaces missing before commas and periods. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to be distracting. A greater focus on basic sentence construction and proofreading for grammatical accuracy is necessary.
