Student answer (Band 6.5)

Nowadays, we all know that in education we have different sylaabus even every country and provincehave their own method for their student and they always follow that. So many individuals think that at that time think that all levels of education from primary school to universities, take really long time learning important facts, and this is not suppos to enogh for learning practical skills, I would like to say that I am totally agree with that and I will explain it more in following paragraphs.

First of all, It will take approx 12 to 14 years study to learn important fact, and we can leatn this things as well as with practical, and I personally think that that would be easy to remember any skill if we perform practical rather than theorical knowledge. For example, For a medical student, if they learn via theory how to do surgery or perform surgery on menican and learn that skill, which would be easy to remember and understand better? Of course, practical would be the best option. If they study 3 years and leran that skill or learn by practical within a year. I think second option will be the best.

Another thing is, in practical there is actual performance It is Introduce to you a real world. For example, If Microbiology's student read theory about check urine types and samples and on the other side they actual work practical with actual samples, Without any doubt they will do they best in practical and we heard many times that practice make a men perfect. so if they practice more they will definietly do best rather than westing their time to read just theory.

Overall, I will totally agree with that we do not need to west time to just learn theory and learning facts like this, insted of that practical skill we have to use more.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position in favor of practical skills over theoretical knowledge. The ideas are relevant, such as the examples of medical and microbiology students. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat repetitive and lacks depth. The argument relies heavily on the same point—that practice is better than theory—without exploring the potential benefits of theoretical knowledge or the nuances of different educational levels. To reach a higher band, you should expand on why theoretical knowledge might be insufficient and provide more sophisticated reasoning regarding the balance between the two.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. There is a basic attempt at using cohesive devices such as 'First of all', 'Another thing is', and 'Overall'. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and the use of referencing is occasionally unclear (e.g., 'at that time think that all levels'). The transition between ideas could be smoother, and the use of cohesive devices is somewhat repetitive. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each sentence logically follows the previous one will help improve the overall coherence.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary used is adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There are several spelling errors (e.g., 'sylaabus', 'suppos', 'enogh', 'theorical', 'leran', 'definietly', 'westing') and word choice issues (e.g., 'menican' instead of 'mannequin', 'west' instead of 'waste'). While the meaning is generally clear, the limited vocabulary and frequent spelling mistakes hinder the overall quality of the writing. To improve, focus on learning the correct spelling of common academic terms and expanding your repertoire of topic-specific vocabulary.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'every country and province have'), incorrect verb forms (e.g., 'I am totally agree'), and punctuation errors. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to be distracting. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically subject-verb agreement and the correct use of auxiliary verbs. Practicing proofreading to catch these common slips will significantly improve your score.
